So, I have failed already at trying to write a chapter a week in advance, and to post every Monday. But almost a week late, and I am updating a new chapter. It's probably a good thing I don't have very many readers yet, while I try to get into the rhythm of writing in between uni and what not. Hopefully, I should be getting a new laptop at some point soon, which means that it'll stop freezing up so frequently, and I'll be able to write more, easier. Apart from that, the reason I didn't end up writing another chapter on Ivory this week is because I started another side project. Hopefully, I'll post a tid bit at some point, and if readers get interested I'll start selling it, but for now, that is a side project.
As for this posting every Monday, and maintaining sites... It's hard, not gonna lie, sometimes you think, "I should do it..." and then other things pull you away and once again the thought is forgotten until you finally find the peace of time to get up and maintain the things getting out of hand. Such as this blog and my writing. Yeah yeah, I know, suck it up , Princess, *sighs* Oh well, the chapter is up, I'm working on the 7th chapter currently and am about halfway through, which is pretty sloppy and I'll have to try and make it up reasonably quickly and work on the 8th chapter also, but for now, enjoy the new chapter.

The experiences of writing online: What comes with the territory?
I have found, that writing fiction online, at least to start with, doesn't just earn you a reader-base from the start (I already knew that, but man it sucks!). One has to put the word out in various ways to gain the readers one wants. So to try and widen that, I started with this blog, which between you and me, I feel silly about simply because I'm one of those people who think bloggers just want attention, and now I am amongst them. (Yes, please, I want all the attentions!!)
For me writing a blog I guess, is about letting people who would like to either, a. start writing fiction, or non-fiction for that matter, see what the process is like, and let them get an insight how to make their transition easier and b. it's for those who actually read my work, to see what's going on in my mind when I write those things and to question me about the writing, and to let me see, as an author, what I'm doing right, and more importantly, how I can fix what I am doing wrong. This for me, is what I believe I'm doing here, with this blog, right now, correct me if I'm wrong though.
Now, not only do I write this blog when it suits me, but I have also decided on writing a few other anecdotes elsewhere. http://myonlinefiction.webs.com/ Is where I'll post a few bits and bobs.
This is not an entirely knew experience for me. I had to do an online journal for my highschool years 11 and 12, where I wrote a few things down, unfortunately I've deleted that site, although most of the writing I put up there will be going onto my new site. But the point there was that while writing online for other peoples pleasure is a new experience for me, writing fiction online isn't, and that as I have used webs before, I actually know what I'm doing, and what I'd like to do with it. *Surprise* So there it is, my little tangent for today. and remember if you'd like to see more of my writing, simply use the donate button, and I'll be more than happy to provide you with a never before seen piece of writing, from me, and with a simple message, you can let me know if you want it NSFW or something a little bit more tame, and I'd be willing to customize to a character of your choice, although custom made characters, nothing out of books with a few exceptions. So feel free nosey around, but I currently don't have much up there, also know that if you donate $10 or more, I'll provide you with the next 2 chapters of Ivory Von, $15 next 3 Chapters of Ivory Von and a custom piece of writing, anything over $25 will get you the next 5 chapters on Ivory Von, a piece of custom writing and a sneak peek never before seen writing on a story I'm currently writing with the working title, Children of the Night. $50 dollars and over, you get the $25 deal, plus a drawing of a dragon from me :)

Adventures into Maliceland
This is the start of my (Braelene) adventures into the world of writing fiction online. For those of you who do not know, I enjoy writing fantasy fiction, that usually involves terrible tragedies, and my stories escalate quickly, something I promise to work on. A small introduction about myself
~I am female
~I love dragons (But strangely they rarely appear in my writing, must change that)
~I have been writing since I was about 14
~I love chocolate and
~http://ivory-von.pandamian.com/ I want you to read this, but you don't have to.
The above link is a story of mine that I have been writing for several years, and I intend on updating it, a chapter a week, on Mondays.
I can also be found on twitter: https://twitter.com/BraeleneB
Now, about me and writing...
Writing is one of my few ways of procrastinating in what most people would call " the real life" but as we all know here (I hope), writing is the real life, where else would one get their dosage of knights being eaten by dragons, and the distressed damsel sighing in frustration and picking up the lance herself? Or perhaps, its the damsel being eaten and the knight saving himself? *shrugs*
One of the few things I have found out about writing is that some days, it can be terribly frustrating trying to pick up pen and paper (or these days keyboard and screen) and try to hash out even a couple of paragraphs let alone the couple dozen pages I want to. That so called real life keeps interfering, leaving one drained with a lack of soul and passion. I hear you asking, so why are you on here then?!
Well, I hope that by having a dedicated fanbase who are more then willing to throw moldy cheese and rotten tomatoes at me should I fail to deliver on my chapters should have me kicking my butt into gear. So want to have the opportunity to throw rotten food at someone? (I know you want to) sit back and wait for the day I finally don't end up delivering, won't be long, I'm sure.
~Braelene
